Chinese Feng Shui says its bad luck to have one’s main entrance directly facing front door why ?
The main entrance is the door that you use the most. If you come and go through a side or back door, that is your main entrance. Feng Shui considers this the money door because it is the one you use when you come home from work. It is bad luck to have your bathroom directly facing the front door because of the toilet flushing things away. It’s as if you are flushing your money down the toilet. I have this problem with my house. This creates what is known as a shar, or negative energy. This shar is also directly through the spirtual center of the house. To redirect the negative energy, I placed a paqua mirror on the inside of the front door and another one on the bathroom door. A paqua mirror is used to protect you from negative energy. It should be used primarily outdoors but since I have the pre-existing conditions I use two mirrors inside.
