17yrs, Just got a tattoo on my foot and around my ankle 3-4days ago, and i need to wear shoes?
my tattooist told me NOT TO WEAR SOCKS but i have to wear them for school, he said i can but take them off straight after. i wore them to school and 2days later i took off my sock and the print of my tattoo was on my sock, and now im scared its going to fade if i keep doing it.
my dad and my brother dont no about my tattoo because i know they will kill me if they find out. so i also need to hide it from them (about 2hours a day, more worried about the school problem, i can always just hid my foot under the blanket wen im watching tv?).
how do i hide it from my dad and not get in trouble at school without risking my tattoo? would stockings be a better option?
the tattoist also told me not to put cling wrap on it becaus then it wont heel.
youre best betor school is to lightly wrap it in some gauze with a thin layer of ointment (so it doesnt stick like it did to your sock) and when you get home immediatly unwrap it and wash with warm water n soap and let it breath. as for home…just tell your dad, hes going to find out sooner or later. he may not even have a bad reaction to it. you picked a tasteful spot (at least its not a tramp stamp!) and whats done is done, he may be angry at first but youll still have your tattoo! yourr his daughter n im sure he loves you so hell come around. good luck!
