Feng Shui And Mirrors

Feng Shui And Mirrors
Anyone here believes in Feng shui?

If yes , den wat makes you a firm believer of feng shui?did anyone of you use one of its item?like the laughing buddha..o..lucky coins…the mirrors…and etc….or the way things in your house shud be kept…

first, you need to understand that fengshui is not about the laughing buddha, nor is it about the lucky coins, nor the mirrors, etc. fengshui is a compilation of chinese theories, each with its own system and calculations. they are all formulated from the idea of yin and yang, and out comes the many theories. these theories are formulated to optimize one’s health or wealth, in a particular time/ space.

unlike faith, fengshui do not recommend you to believe in it for it to work. the important factors are that you get your theory right, calculations done right, and do the theory/ technique properly. that is it! then you forget everything. if these 3 are right, then you will have an effect within 3 months or less, depends on how powerful your technique is.

if you take a fengshui seminar and all you got are the laughing buddha, the lucky coins and the mirrors, then you’ve been ripped off! though the mirrors are used as a remedy in many cases, i for one, do not believe in a remedy. for the reason that you make the bad into a neutral, not into a good/ positive. then it is not any better than the bad one. it is better to take the bad down, and replace it with a good/ positive chi.

authentic chinese fengshui mostly involves the 360 degrees of the directions – north, south, east and west. and it is very precise down to half a degree.

you need to remember that most books especially those published in english either writes about black hat fengshui (a shortcut fengshui which is made by western people, not fengshui at all!!!), or the writer only speaks about less than a percent of what is the topic about, or the writer writes about the laughing buddha, the lucky coins and the mirrors – definitely not fengshui at all.

good writers are few, there is a book about flying stars 2nd edition by eva wong. it is one of the more useful books about flying stars theory. get the 2nd edition, as it has more examples than the first edition.

i am not a firm believer, i am rather a skeptic. i took it as a hobby. bec i love travelling, but i hate the postcards and souvenirs. so i got an idea, to study something that not everyone are into, and it must be expensive. so i can do it as a service in the future. fengshui popped into my mind. now, i don’t do auditing for others, but i do fengshui for my own business and my life, and so far, life is good! =)
