Feng Shui Baby Making

Feng Shui Baby Making
Will i have enough space in my baby biorb witht these plants?

I have a baby biorb and have added 2 packs on feng shui pebbles, a central coral ornament and two pot plants. at the moment my tank looks great but does’t look like i have much vegetation in it :( was wondering if the potted plants pots need to be taken out?

Also, i ordered the 18” Collection from plants alive before i had got the potted plants and pebbles.

5 x Elodea Densa
1 x Aponogetum Crispus
5 Eleocharis Parvulus (dwarf hairgrass)
10 x mini Amazon Sword
5 x Bacopa Monnerii
5 x Twisted Vallisneria
10 x Sagittaria Natans
5 x Rotalla Indica

Was wondering if having these plants with my what i have already got in my baby biorb will make it too cramped? after all i could trim down some of the plants…

I really need to know asap as i have ordered it and need to decide to cancell it or not.

thanks tom

Far too many plants!!! I dont think you will be able to fit them all in, Eleocharis parvula needs to be planted in the substrate which you will struggle with due to the biorbs under substrate filtration – if you add rooting plants like this you will affect the input/output (and clog) the filter, I think you will have similar problems with the Vallis.

Also some of these plants need quite a lot of light, you will need additional lighting other than that provided with the biorb.
A good lighting system would equate to 1.5w per gallon or more given the size of your tank.

I would stick to plants that can be attached to bog wood or stones and require low lighting (unless you have added additional lighting) such as Anubias, Java fern, Java moss, Christmas moss etc.
