how can i decorate my bedroom with feng shui?
hey! i’m changing to a new house, and i wanted to know how can i decorate my bedroom using feng shui! i’m 17 so i want something not to old! what colors should i use? or how to decorate it? thx
I would start by reading some books on the subject first. Feng Shui isn’t so much about decorating, it’s about harmony and the flow of positive chi. Some basics are:
1) Remove excess clutter. Free yourself of things that no longer feed your chi. If there are things you are hanging onto that have negative associations for you, consider getting rid of these items.
2) Avoid things that block ‘flow’ in a literal sense. Tables with pointy edges that you run into or things that are awkwardly placed and get in the way of your daily activities cause a nuisance which can disrupt the flow of energy in a room.
3) You’ll find a lot of stuff out there about what is “good” or bad” Feng Shui. Take it all with a grain of salt. Keep in mind if something doesn’t function well in your space or if you hate the way it looks, THIS in itself is “bad” Feng Shui. Use the parts that work for YOU and YOUR room and ignore the rest.
4) How do you feel when you look at your room? Start by creating a space you love to look at. Make the space comfortable and make it function for you. If you always do this then any Feng Shui you do will make a great space even better.
