Should the definition of atheism include something that disqualifies superstitious people?
I want to exclude all those superstitious Asians from the atheist ballpark. If you ask me, they are getting a free ride on the coat tails of genuine atheists. Someone who believes in crap like feng shui, the ghosts of dead ancestors and loud firecrackers scaring away demons etc, should not be considered an atheist. I want atheism to be about rational science and the courage to accept that it’s cold, loveless reality in which we live. I want atheism to be about accepting the truth and damn the consequences! What do you think?
