Feng Shui and Mirrors?? Can you help me?

I have a 4 ft by 6 ft Mirror on the wall facing my front doors with a clear stained glass design in them, to reflect and add light.

Is this reflecting the good luck or chi (I am not sure if that is what you call it) back out instead of allowing it into the house?

Any simple pointers to get me started would be greatly appeciated.

in fengshui, 2 doors directly in line with each other are not good. it represents instant death or easily die. a mirror reflecting a door is the same thing as 2 doors in a straight line.

regarding the reflecting light… i haven’t came across this. i guess it is okay. but the 2 doors directly in each other’s path is a big bad thing.

the only solution is to remove the mirror.

in most chinese houses, it is a common knowledge that when you open the door to the toilet or the shower, you should not see yourself in front – meaning the mirror must not be in front of the door. because this means death. your mirror is the same with this. it does not matter whether yours is leading to the living and my example is to the toilet. they’re both the same case.
