Feng Shui For House Selling

Feng Shui For House Selling
Do I need an Asian realtor to sell my house.?

I live in Irvine, California in a community that has many Chinese members. I have had my house on the market for 6 months and most of the prospective buyers were Chinese but no one made any offers. The house is in great shape and the price is slightly below all the comps, every visitor is impressed with the property but no offers. A couple of weeks ago a friend of mine told me I need a Chinese realtor and he talked about something called Feng Shui. I would welcome a realtor of any race if they were capable but now I am feeling that I would do better with a Chinese person because of the cultural connection. Does anyone have experience with this kind of thing and who the heck is Feng Shui??
Is 66 a bad number and I back onto a “busy street”. The street is not really that busy but it’s one of those things that people jump on right away. Like asking people in the US if the concord airplane is noisy and they say yes even though the concord has never been further west than New York.

Actually it is not discrimination to hire an Asian, because they are a minority, but would be discrimination to not sell to any race that is interested. You can hire who you want as an individual, Being in a Chinese neighborhood it would be a good idea to hire a LOCAL.. agent. Not because she is Chinese, but because she is local.. Of course the local ones will be Chinese, so you kill two birds with one stone.

Feng Shui is good to mention to either Asian or American. Both will be impressed that you went the extra mile. You will be put off by them talking their language in front of you, and feel that they are trying to gang up on you… And the are.. LOL but that is the way business is done in ChinaTown, and it is your location. Just set your bottom price in your head and hold to it…

Good Luck
