I was born 3/2/44. Our front door faces north. According to feng shui, what bedroom direction is best?
My birthdate is 3/244. I am a Monkey. My husband was born 8/20/32. Where should our bedroom be? We have one facing south and east which is the largest and the master. We have two small ones (which I could take one of) and ONE is facing east and north. The OTHER BR is facing North only. The colours and decorating are a nightmare in this house. I love greens, plum, and the most of the carpeting is bright blue and blue tweed. I am at a loss for what to do without putting in hardwood floors which we are not going to do immedaitely. The lower level is blue tweed carpet and lemon yellow walls. It is almost impossible to believe this. It is like an easter egg hunt. HELP!!!

house facing north – in fengshui, every direction is subdivided into 3 directions, what degree specifically – measure it with a compass. also take into consideration the most yang facing as your facing – this is a bit difficult/ confusing for a beginner (fengshui practitioner). the measurement is always the degree that is perpendicular to where you stand. fengshui practitioners use a luo pan or a big chinese compass, but you can use an ordinary compass, you just need to measure precisely.
regarding rooms, in fengshui, a room faces east, if you are inside that room looking outside the door and you face east, then that room is said to be facing east, again use a compass.
as i mentioned before, you can decorate and paint your house however you like, the colors and style are not important in fengshui, just the arrangement of the rooms inside the house. how you use the space inside the house is important.
