Has there been any Filipino movie remake in Hollywood?
I was under the impression that the suspense-thriller movie Feng Shui starring Kris Aquino was going to have a remake in Hollywood. I don’t know where I got that news, though.
I just find it really frustrating that none of our movies are that of standards to have a remake in Hollywood. Some of the Japanese movies have one: The Ring, The Grudge, Shutter, although, most are horror movies, but still.
i don’t know about the older movies, but a 2004 horror movie by Yam Laranas (Sigaw) already has a Hollywood remake entitled “The Echo”. Iza Calzado reprises her role in the remake.
