
How do I feng shui up my entryway?
I have a South facing door, with stairs immediately as you walk in going up and down. There is no room for anything on the floor. I painted the room a warm orange spice color on one side and a warm fawn on the other. I was going to put a mirror next to the door facing the stairwell, but figured it might double the fast moving chi. Or, will it slow down the chi as it would be adding space to that small area? I was also going to put something with writing on the opposite wall of the door above the lower staircase to slow down the chi, as I know words or books will slow chi, as it will slow people as they take the time to read it. What do you think of the mirror?
If you’re planning on placing a mirror directly opposite the door, that’s not a good idea, as the mirror pushes away all the good energy that is about to enter the house, as energy enters through the door, so make sure it isn’t facing the door, but instead, is on a wall adjacent to the door.
