how could I realize that is feng shui real or not?
Is it a science or just superstition? is it refer to metaphysic or not?(optional ny reseach source)
it is not science, though it has its own system, which is not like math or science. like astrology, it is based on the stars and directions, just simplified to the techniques, like flying stars and 8 mansions.
it is not superstition, because it affects you whether you believe it or not. most of the time, the thing that you are suffering from like illness are caused by a bad fengshui in your house. and you can only figure it out when you learned the techniques.
it is a form of divination or metaphysics, made by the chinese many years ago to increase crop yield.
how could you realize that it is real or not? well, if it is not effective, would the chinese continue to practice it to this day? overseas chinese believe that singapore made it possible to prosper in less than 20 years’ time by using fengshui. and it is a fact in singapore and hongkong, that chinese businessmen consult famous fengshui masters before building their next skyscrapers. fengshui is real, because these very successful people would not spend thousands of dollars just to consult people, who do not know anything about architecture.
but fengshui is not what most people think it is (as published in most books) -
- it is not cleaning the clutter
- it is not arranging your furnitures in an octagon shape
- it is not about mirrors, bagua, or using the windchimes
- it is not about dividing your house into 8 or 12 sections (career, wealth, etc.)
- it is not painting your room a certain color
- your house cannot have good fengshui by just having good fengshui or applying fengshui techniques to the bedroom (bec bad fengshui from other parts of the house can negate that part, even if you are just using the bedroom)
- and i don’t think that it can make your house in harmony with the elements. fengshui practitioners just say this. for you to stop asking and know their trade secrets.
fengshui is about precise measurement to half a degree, proper use of the techniques (right calculations and analysis), and then proper applications of these techniques. that is why fengshui practitioners use a luo pan or a big chinese compass. if you know the techniques, then you’ll realize that each circle that surrounds the luo pan is a technique.
