I just bought a book on Feng Shui, and I noticed that on the cover it uses the colors red and gold. Is this?

My wedding colors were red and gold.
Has anyone who has feng shui’d their house noticed a difference in their energy/relationships/success?
The element of Fire is represented by Red in color and the triangular shape , whereas the element of Metal is represented by Golden or silver color and the round circle.
According to the principles of the 5 Elements, Fire melts metal and therefore they’re supposed to be in conflict by nature.
However, if you observe more carefully, you’d see that all the shops in the Orient that sell gold and jewelry stuffs are decorated with heavy accent of the color Red because…
…when Gold meets Fire, it’s Alchemy in action…and thus something more refined and of better quality is believed to be brought about. People think it is good and auspicious.
Take a look at the logo of Mercedes Benz, it’s another vivid example of Metal and Fire in action – round is Metal and the 3 pointed star is triangular and thus considered as Fire.
So every time when something good is implied, these 2 elements are used.
