What did Sir Isaac Newton’s experiment with the prism lead to?
I am doing a report for school about the prism and I am wanting to know what his prism expiriment led to (like what other scientists did, how the world changed because of it, etc.) I can’t find it anywhere! If you could, it would really help if you had a site to back you up, but just an answer would be apreciated. Thanks 
It lead to the discovery that white light is made up of all the other light spectrums as well as the fact that different wavelengths bend at different degrees which is a main component of optical data transmission
