Tumble Stones

Tumble Stones
I am installing tumbled stone tile on my kitchen back splash. Is there a certain kind of grout used for stone?

Is there anything special that needs done? Thanks.

You should use a sanded grout. Even if you use a small joint , the depth is to great for a unsanded grout. The size differance in this tile requires a minimum of an 1/8 th inch spacer (what I use), since when you grout it, the curve on the tumbled edge will cause the joint to fill and look bigger. SEAL the stone prior to installing so the stone will not stain w/ the adhesive or the grout.. Any questions you can e mail me and check out my qualifications GL
