Repairing Wood Effect Laminate Flooring (breaking off in corners)?
Help and suggestions please. We have laminate flooring in our dinning room and in two places the laminate has broken off in the corners very unevenly.
What can I use to repair it and make it look good again?
In the room corner or the laminate corner ,say in the middle of the room? You have just 2 choices either way. Take off the base and or shoe and pull boards back and replace w/ extra boards ( hope you have some) The other way is to try and stain or color the showing part and put varnish or nail polish over it . This is your call depending on how big the broken pc s are and just how the effect things. If they happen to be small chips in the corners, I d try 1st to hide them since you have nothing to lose. If that don t work then on to plan B and replace the boards. Which if you need hints to do that e mail me thru my avatar and I ll help you w/ tips I ve done a couple 100 000 s/f of laminate . GL
